No Bluetooth — Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

My laptop is running Arch Linux with GNOME. The laptop is able to connect to Wi-Fi networks without any trouble.

I have installed bluez and bluez-utils via pacman. However, bluetoothctl continues to output 'No default controller available'. The laptop's Bluetooth hardware is not malfunctioning; it was able to connect to Bluetooth devices under the previous operating system, Windows, which I replaced with Arch only yesterday.

Re: No Bluetooth — Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

Unfortunately, my BIOS menu (i.e., InsydeH2O setup utility) does not offer any way to toggle the laptop's Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and no newer versions of the BIOS (v. 1.31) have been posted to the Acer website. The laptop also has no hardware toggles for the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. However, thank you for your suggestion!
