I've got dell inspirion 3542. While using arch linux i can hear strange high frequency modular sounds which intensity depends on what i'm doing. For example when using gnome's dash bar it's more inrensive than normal. The same when turning volume up or down. I lisened these sounds and i think they are generated by RAM, SDD, wifi card. It's a little irritating, but bearable. On Windows and some other distros like ubuntu everything is ok.

You need to set up power saving yourself on Arch. I don't really know what's best to do. Check out any article in the ArchWiki about power saving you can find.
Here's some things to look into:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/TLP
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Powertop
Here's the general power saving article in the Wiki:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management
The following article mentions the 'thermald' package and service at the start:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CP … cy_scaling
Also see if there's an article for exactly your Dell laptop model in the Wiki, or maybe for a somewhat related model, and see what that article says to do.
