Help with debugging a crash seemingly caused by a kernel error

Hello,

Today my screen suddenly "froze" in the most literal sense possible.

None of my peripherals were working (tried plugging and unplugging the ones for which I could do so) and I couldn't switch TTY or do anything else to interact with my computer.

Strangely enough, pluseaudio was still playing stuff for a good ~160 seconds, but everything else was seemingly stuck.

Finally, I had to restart my computer and I found the following error log (copy pasted from the first kernel log to the reboot):

Is this a kernel crash of sorts ? What exactly is this error message telling me here ? Why might such a thing happen

I'm really unknowledgable  when it comes to this kind of stuff, but, since I was unable to even switch TTYs, I assumed this is a "kernel space" rather than "user space" issue and, since I never really messed with my kernel, I thought it might be worth troubleshooting this here.

After a reboot, my machine works just fine.

Not exactly sure what info about my installed software I should be giving out here, so please advise and I'll include them to the list bellow:

Linux george-laptop 4.18.14-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Oct 13 13:42:37 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Re: Help with debugging a crash seemingly caused by a kernel error

Is it still an issue with linux 4.19 in testing?  The freeze sounds like a hard lockup rather than what could technically called a panic.
In a panic the kernel is actually able to print panic plus a backtrace.  The log you posted shows issues from both  GPU and USB related modules but I can not see an obvious cause.
