I'm using thinkpad e560 and for power management I'm using tlp, /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/energy_now is returning false values for battery energy, I've measured its value every 2 seconds and plotted it and it looks like this:

what can I do to fix this problem?

1. Read the Code of Conduct and only post thumbnails http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cod … s_and_code
2. Stop using TLP

Is this a problem with tlp? I've already got tlp set up and wouldn't want to change it if it's not a problem.

Removing TLP will determine if it is a contributing factor.

I belive it's working fine without tlp. My tlp stat output: https://ptpb.pw/eBZd.

Yeah, TLP seems to cause more problems than it fixes. You can acheive the same thing by using systemd settings, service files and the like. Read the wiki page on Powertop https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Powertop

It still is an issue even when I removed tlp.
