Twinview third display works for a moment then blanks out

I have used this same machine and Arch install since mid-2012. When it woke up this morning, all three displays blinked on like normal. A moment later, one went dark. It blinks on at full brightness, but afterward, there is no light coming from the screen, so it appears that the backlight is off. I've alternated all three sources through all three displays. The first two displays work fine with each input/cable. The last one misbehaves in each case. I have also tried a new power cable. When I power-cycle the display, change screen resolution, or unplug and replug the source cable, it always blinks on for a just a moment.

Gnome Shell behaves normally. I can drag windows between displays, mouse over, change the display layout, etc...

I suspect the problem is in the display itself, but I thought I'd ask here anyway. You all are an intelligent and resourceful bunch. Do any of you have any thoughts? Thanks.
