(Possible bug?) fontconfig repeatedly reports "Unable to revert mtime"

As per topic. Several applications constantly report "Unable to revert mtime: /usr/share/fonts/encodings/large". Google found this Debian bug, which seems to have been patched for Debian, but issues still persist on my Arch install: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo … bug=909728

Not sure if this should be classified as a bug or not, so I didnt open an issue on the tracker.

Re: (Possible bug?) fontconfig repeatedly reports "Unable to revert mtime"

That would require backporting https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/fontconf … requests/8 which we have not done.

Is the problem just cosmetic, or does it negatively affect the runtime of applications for you?

If it's a problem for you, feel free to open a bug report.

Its only cosmetic as for now, but I thought Ill post about it to see if it would be considered a bug.
