Audio lag after unlock

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with my audio output. Everytime I unlock my PC the audio output stops for about a second. It happens wether I resume from suspend to RAM or just from the screensaver.
I tried this solution ( https://askubuntu.com/questions/776883/ … ower-save) but it didn't help.

My DE is Xfce with LightDM and LightDM-slick-greeter. I tried the gtk-greeter, but to no avail.

I hope someone can help me and I chose the right forum.

Best regards.

Re: Audio lag after unlock

Welcome to the Arch Linux forums.

Given that link, I have two questions.

First, is this an Arch Linux system?  (If so why look to Ubuntu)
Second, is this an HDMI audio issue?

Also, tell us more about the audio chipset, and whether you are using pulseaudio,

Thank you for your welcome and your reply.

It is a arch linux system. The solution in the link suggests a setting in pulseaudio, so I saw no problem there.

It i no hdmi audio problem. The vidieo goes via HDMI to a monitor and the audio via analog jack to my Receiver.

The Chipset is the "Realtek ALC892". Which is the onboard Chip of the Z370 Pro 4 ( https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z370%20Pro4/index.asp ).

I do use Pulseaudio.

Re: Audio lag after unlock

I am not even sure it is a error or something. Maybe it is supposed to work like this. But I would like to know if I can change that.
