localectl set-x11-keymap

localectl set-x11-keymap gives me:  Failed to set keymap: Local keyboard configuration not supported on this system.
journalctl -b says this: Nov 21 22:14:37 lattepanda systemd-localed[2189]: Cannot compile XKB keymap for new x11 keyboard layout ('' / 'no' / '' / ''): Operation not supported


help?!

What's the exact command that you are running, i.e., are you passing any other argument to `localectl set-x11-keymap`. I am assuming you are trying to set it to Norwegian?

Also, what keyboard are you using?

I had similar problem just now after fresh installation. You need libxkbcommon (and libxkbcommon-x11, possibly?) installed. Most desktop environment and window manager install it as dependencies, but OpenBox, for example, doesn't have it.
