[SOLVED] Nextcloud client does not save login

Maybe a bit offtopic here but hopefully someone still can help me with my issue.

I installed arch with i3 as window manager and the nextcloud client from the official repository. Now every time when I close the application or restart the computer, I get the message "You have been logged out" and I have to login again. I have two computer with the same setup and the issue occurs on both of them. Then I have an additional windows 10 vm, where it still works.

Does someone have the same issues or an idea what the reason could be? Or maybe just an idea where I can start to troubleshoot? I already tried to find a solution online, but didn't had luck so far.

It sounds like you have a keyring issue. I think the nextcloud client uses GNOME keyring? Maybe check out https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GN … side_GNOME

It also works with KDE's key manager

Great, thank you. I had to install gnome-keyring and add it to my .xinitrc to make it work.

Great! Don't forget to mark the thread solved by editing the title and putting "[SOLVED]" before the rest of the title.
