[SOLVED] steam crashing after login

I already tried reinstalling it.
my graphics card is an intel HD 520.
I use KDE if it can be of any help.
from what i searched it looks like its a driver problem. however, i've installe mesa.

It crashes in a locale function, you have to generate an en_US locale

FWIW regarding the vulkan error, though it is unlikely to be the crasher, you will want to install vulkan-intel and lib32-vulkan-intel

the locale error doesnt pop up anymore, but steam still wont stop crashing.

Still the same error, which locale do you actually have set? What's the output of

locale -a
localectl

you might want to reread the wiki page and check that you have proper locales set

Either generate an it_IT.UTF-8 as well, or set at least the LANG=en_US.UTF-8 . Where did you configure the keyboard layout? If you use some DEs tool that might simply globally set all these values to a specific value.

yes a wide variety of various printouts will likely remain in the terminal, most of those are simply informal and no cause for concern.
