I want to compile on arch, but currently I "cp" the file to the "/root/bin" directory, because they are needed as an dependency and are not available as "make install". Since I don't want to mess up my /bin/ folder is there a other why to redirect the files from somewhere else? So for example I put all the compiled dependencies to /opt/XYZ? They need to be accessible to a default make file. otherwise I will get the message "command not found" by executing make in the source folder.

Ideally, make a package for the dependencies and install it.
Alternatively, add the location of these required binaries to your PATH variable.

Could you post how that would look like. How can I add PATH variabled.
example:
file(binary) test in opt/test/

If you don't know how to set a shell variable (or at least how to google it), you definitely should not be using arch linux.

I am completely new to Arch Linux, I learned a lot the past few days. If I am an experienced user I won’t ask in the newbie corner. BTW I bet I am less than half your age...

Neither your age nor the fact that this is the NC is relevant.
Trilby (like others here around…) is at times blunt (and probably old. Very. Old. ;-) but entirely correct: arch is not an ideal distro if you've never had contact w/ linux (or at least any posix system) before.
It's not impossible, but you're facing a very steep learning curve and you'll at some point likely fubar the system (so consider it a playground)
Arch therefore provides a vast wiki where you can learn A LOT - and you're required to. In this case: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/En … _variables
However I'd dial back a bit, because a make command requiring fringe binaries is rather odd.
What exactly are you trying to build, how do you approach it and what are the exact error messages when make fails?
