Hai,
I have search my problem through google and this forum, all of the answers pointed to add Chinese font after primary font at .Xresources
but it does not solve my problem, my terminal still unable to show chinese characters.
I have try to install all chinese font listed on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/fonts#Chinese still no luck.
Is there any another package that i need to install first so my terminal can read chinese characters?
Cheers,

Have you tried this package:

Assuming the font contains the glyphs, try
URxvt.font: xft:Hack:style=Regular:size=20,xft=WenQuanYi Micro Hei Mono Light:style=Light:size=9(yes, that gets you a ridiculously huge terminal font, but if the chinese glyphs show up, we'll know the cause ;-)
