Hello, I'm having issues with elasticsearch. I downloaded the community repo but attempting to enable and start the systemd service fails. When I try to run it manually, I get the following permissions error:
~ $ /usr/share/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch
Exception in thread "main" java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: /etc/elasticsearch/jvm.options

There seem to be a few error posts related to permissions with this directory (e.g. https://github.com/elastic/ansible-elas … ssues/430), but I haven't had any success with them. Also when reinstalling elasticsearch I got a warning that the filesystem and package permissions differed for /etc/elasticsearch and /etc/elasticsearch/scripts/. However, when I changed the filesystem permissions to the package ones, the issue remained. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong here? Thanks.
