Hi guys, i was using tlp in linux mint, a software that manage some power features, among them there is the possibility of set the time before an unused hard disk stops spinning (which in a laptop is a very useful features because saves battery and less noise is produced). Is it a good option to manage that feature in arch or maybe there are better solutions?

TLP exists as well, and has the same possibilities, if you are used to it you can use it as well. some other options are outlined here but only you can say which approach you want to use. In the end whatever approach you are using will be adjusting the same knobs so "better" is only relevant for which place you personally think is better to manage that setting, it ultimately won't matter where and how exactly you do the change.
