[SOLVED] Silent Boot with manufacturer logo - Kernel 4.19.12-arch1-1

Hope someone can help me here. I am looking to preserve the manufacturer logo on boot.. Right now i am unable to get it to work i have tried a few options looks like i need help.

I don't use grub i use efibootmgr(direct boot as recommended by wiki). I followed the wiki for silent boot here (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/si … _from_BIOS)

 efibootmgr -d /dev/nvme0n1 -p 1 -c -L "AiCDad Linux" -l /vmlinuz-linux  -u "root=/dev/nvme0n1p2 rw quiet loglevel=3 initrd=initramfs-linux.img"  --verbose

I don't get any message(as expected by quiet and log level 3) and only a black screen no manufacturer logo, in my case it Asus ROG (b350-f rog)

tried this

efibootmgr -d /dev/nvme0n1 -p 1 -c -L "AiCDad Linux" -l /vmlinuz-linux  -u "root=/dev/nvme0n1p2 rw quiet vga=current loglevel=3 rd.systemd.show_status=auto initrd=initramfs-linux.img"  --verbose

Same as above no manufacturer logo

I know i am missing something here.. As fedora 19 is able to preserve manufacturer logo. I tried booting into efi VM for fedora to find out what options are been used. fedora is using grub and also options i can find is rgbh and quiet which doesn't help

My config

Kernel =  4.19.12-arch1-1-ARCH
CSM = disabled
GPU = amdgpu(rx460)
Root FS - BTRFS(nvme)

/etc/mkinitcpio.conf

MODULES=(amdgpu)
HOOKS=(base systemd autodetect modconf block filesystems btrfs keyboard)

Update
After writing this i found what was wrong. It was early KMS for amdgpu.. Removed amdgpu from modules in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf now i get the logo. Hope this help others

Current efibootmgr

efibootmgr -d /dev/nvme0n1 -p 1 -c -L "AiCDad Linux" -l /vmlinuz-linux  -u "root=/dev/nvme0n1p2 ro quiet loglevel=3 initrd=initramfs-linux.img"  --verbose
