[SOLVED] dmesg finds eMMC card but lsblk dont.

so i am trying to flash arch to my eMMC in order to start using my odroid xu4, and i am having troubles finding it.

so dmesg:

[11682.200857] mmc0: new high speed MMC card at address 0001

lsblk still doesnt show anything.
not sure where to go from here...the only thing i want is to use dd on the card.

Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

tried 2 diferent micro sd adapters , using the blue thingy adpater that came with the odroid to connect the emmc to the micro sd adpater.

Re: [SOLVED] dmesg finds eMMC card but lsblk dont.

Probably not, preparing an eMMC for installing an ARM system is usually done on a x86 system.

Does fdisk -l report the eMMC drive ?

Have you checked https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php? … 907f556ce9 ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
