Strange USB mount error: Solved

when I plug in my SD card reader I get the following message.
It works as root and the last time I tried it worked as user.
Using KDE and testing.

solved by adding my user to the storage group 

A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")

I did a more careful forum search.
