Wifi is down after reboot since system upgrade (2019-01-04) [SOLVED]

Hello,

I updated the system today (after another update a week ago), and my wifi stopped working OOTB.  After searching around and trying stuff without really understanding what is going on, I managed to make it work, but I have to repeat the steps every time after I reboot.  After issuing a

ip link set wlo1 up

and then

iw dev wlo1 scan

, I can connect using wifi (with lxqt-connman-applet).  Neither of these commands alone won't help. (

iw dev wlo1 scan

alone does not give any output.)

Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Wifi is down after reboot since system upgrade (2019-01-04) [SOLVED]

Welcome to the boards mbork

Which card,  which exact packages where updated? Post a dmesg and/or

sudo journalctl -b

after doing these steps and maybe the pacman log of the update that lead to the issue.

dmesg says a lot of things, I'd have to start it right after a reboot (which I can't do within the next two hours since I'm working now). If it is needed, I'll post it, too, of course.

Thanks a lot!

Downgrading wpa_supplicant to 2.6-12 did help indeed.
