Trouble with Eclipse for Python [SOLVED]

I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place, but I guess newbie questions are expected here.

I'm trying to set up the Eclipse Python IDE, but the Python packages are from the AUR. I installed them according to the wiki instructions.

The eclipse packages I currently have installed (because of the dependencies):
eclipse-antlr-runtime 3.0.0-3
eclipse-dltk-core 5.6-1
eclipse-dltk-python 5.6-1
eclipse-emf 2.12.0-2
eclipse-java 4.10-1

When I run it I don't get the option to set the Python perspective or an option to make a Python project. Can someone help?

Re: Trouble with Eclipse for Python [SOLVED]

I'm not familiar with eclipse, but the wiki suggests installing eclipse-pydev for python which you don't list as installed.

In contrast, the dltk packages are not listed at all on the eclipse wiki page - which page are you following?

"UNIX is simple and coherent" - Dennis Ritchie; "GNU's Not Unix" - Richard Stallman

Thanks a lot man! I don't know how I missed that. Everything works now as it should.
