I've tried many things to solve this problem, nvidia-xrun, optimus-manager and bumblebee. Now I'm trying to use PRIME with the nouveau to at least prevent the system from hanging every time I do something related to the GPU, I followed the steps for PRIME in ArchWiki and still no success.

ive been having some issues with optimus lately, your best bet right now is to use the lts kernel with bumblebee and nvidia-xrun installed (bumblebee is just for the blacklisting it does of nvidia modules) and also the nvidia proprietary drivers. after all thats installed use nvidia-xrun and all should work fine.
nice quick un-detailed answer to a nice quick un-detailed question
edit: forgot to mention you'll need nvidia-lts and bbswitch-dkms to work with the lts kernel

What's your exact system and graphics chips? A lot of the issues with bumblebee are traceable to wonky vendor firmware.

jonno2002, I'll definitely try it out, and sorry for not provide useful information.
My GPUs are a Intel hd graphics 630 and GTX 1050m, CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ. I removed everything that was related to the nvidia closed-source drivers and their conf files that use to blacklist nouveau, installed basically xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-nouveau (to follow the PRIME instructions). In other distros the same problem happens, but for ubuntu-based distros it gets fixed after the script nvidia-prime is configured.
If I try lspci | egrep 'VGA|3D' or simply neofetch it freezes. about the config and log files I don't know if journalctl will provide the information needed, I'm new to Arch and never used to do this in other distros. I'll be really glad if you tell me where I can search for these files.
