I can't seem to get Fcitx working. It will launch at startup like it's supposed to, but it says there's no input window and I can't change the input method. I've tried both GTK and QT applications, as well as setting my environment variables based on what the Wiki recommends with no luck. I've posted the output of fcitx-diagnose and will be happy to provide any information I can.

fcitx-diagnose says $GTK_IM_MODULE and $QT_IM_MODULE are not correctly set. Could you re-check it?

Thank you for your reply. It should be set correctly. Here is my xinitrc for reference:

Those export commands will not run -- nothing in .xinitrc will run after "exec xterm".

Oh... Well I feel stupid. Would this be a better place to put them?
