Hi there
I just rebooted my machine and there was this filesystemcheck. it all went fine till ~90 % then a box came up telling me that the filesystem check failed and i should type my password for maintainace. I typed my password, but actually it told me that it was wrong. I got this error once before, and didnt know how to get rid of it, so i reinstalled. Any ideas how to fix this?

if your pw is wrong, keep in mind that at this stage american keyboard layout is used if you don'T use keymap hook in initpcio.

Are you using a non-english keyboard layout normaly? Not that I would have a clue but maybe it would have been possible to pass a kernel parameter to set your layout according to your preferences?
edit: tpowa was faster AND a lot more helpfully. Anyway, it's the intention that counts ;-)

As tpowa already wrote:
put "keymap" into the hooks array in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf, recreate your initcpio and your problem should be solved.
