Black screen on resume from hibernate (Thinkpad X1 Extreme)

Hi all,

Unfortunately, after setting up my Thinkpad X1 Extreme I get inconsistent resume from hibernate results. It seems whenever I hibernate overnight, as oppose to testing it quickly, it boots up, I enter my encryption password and then it shows a black screen.
I have tried starting KMS early with my nvidia drivers as explained here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … de_setting, and also switching over to the linux-lts kernel. Still nothing changes.

Here is the output of journalctl when resuming from hibernate up until I press the power button to reboot out of the black screen.
