Thinkpad T60P Screen Issue

I've installed arch on a handful of systems before but only my t60p is giving me issues.

The command line displays and works fine but when GDM opens up the screen gives this tearing seared look.

I have the ati driver installed and i've get and set the EDID using readedid,

I would appreciate any help or pointers at all, thank you!
