Keyboard stops working

My keyboard stops working some time after boot and I have to reboot the laptop everytime to get it to work again..  I have no clue how to start debugging.  This issue has been occurring the past week or so..

Re: Keyboard stops working

"stops working" is no sufficient problem description.
How do you determine that it "stops working"? Where does it "stop working" (console or graphical session, Xorg or wayland, what window manager, …)
Can you still change the terminal (ctrl+alt+f2,f3,…)?
Does your mouse still "work"?
How is the keyboard wired? (esp. check lsusb, no: USB is not defined by a plug and a cable)

Post a full journal from a boot where this happened. ("sudo journalctl -b -1")

Re: Keyboard stops working

I would start by looking through the journal looking for clues.
You might set up an sshd server to allow you to log in from another box to allow you to diagnose this in real time.

Is it a USB keyboard?  PS/2?  Built in (like a laptop)? Or external?
What happens if you try to change to a different console with Ctrl-Alt-F2 (or F3, F4...)
Do the Caps Lock or Num Lock LEDs change state when pressing the The Caps Lock or Num Lock Keys?

Edit:  Too Slow.  Need more coffee.

Re: Keyboard stops working

https://pastebin.com/QTf7Zg0A These are my journalctl logs from a boot when the error occurred. I have a bluetooth keyboard too and that works fine. The problematic  keyboard is the laptop's one . When this error occurs the system refuses to shut down and I have to force it. The LEDs indicationg caps lock and num lock dont change state. Nor are they affected when I toggle these from my bluetooth keyboard.
