SDDM not showing background image

Hello, I'm running LXQt/SDDM on an old Macbook Air (mid 2010, 13 inch) and I'm facing a problem with SDDM: it won't show the background image. I don't have this problem on any other of my Arch systems, and my endeavours on the internet haven't got me very far.

I've tried rummaging around in the config file, and I've even tried changing the theme, but to no avail. I don't really know what else to do, because I've never really needed to configure SDDM in any way before (apart from theming).

Everything else on the system works, exceptionally I might add, but it's just this one problem.

Re: SDDM not showing background image

Hi,

Can you check the permissions on the background file (listed in the theme.conf configuration file) of the current theme you're using?

Re: SDDM not showing background image

Hi, sorry for late reply, I've looked at the permissions and I have a right to read the file. I think that should be okay, but I briefly tried changing it anyway. It didn't work, but I'm not sure I did it right. I'll try again when I have time (which is something I'm short on right now tongue )
