When I change the password, it is shown that the password must be at least 6 letters long.
However, if the new password is less than 9 letters then it will still give an error.

On the password change interface, it's written the password should be a minimum of 6 characters, but having entered 8 characters long password, the next page informs me it should be a minimum of 9.

What are you talkin about? To my knowledge, Arch doesn't impose any such limitation nor does it use a "change interface."
