I feel this is more a Gnome specific question versus and audio question, since audio is actually working. I think there is a setting I may be missing in Gnome.
Anyways, I am running Arch (first install, yay) on my laptop and using Gnome. The audio is muted when I log in, so I need to turn it up when I want to hear something. While this is not a big deal, it would be nice if Gnome remembered my volume level from the previous session. Is there somewhere to set the default volume level in Gnome?
Thanks

Thank you. I installed alsa-utils, turned up the sound, and rebooted. It remembered the previous state and works the way I want.
