is it really up to date?

Probably a stupid question but ...
when I run
sudo pacman -Syu
the result is

:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
...

but uname -r tells me:
4.20.8-arch1-1-ARCH

yet at https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sor … =&flagged=

I see

Arch	Repo	Name	Version Description Last Updated
x86_64	Core	linux	4.20.10.arch1-1 The Linux kernel and modules 2019-02-18

so why doesn't pacman give me the last update?

Re: is it really up to date?

Or because you have updated properly yet not rebooted.

pacman -Q linux
