I installed GNOME yesterday and at first it worked fine. Then, when I switched to ibus-chewing input method, the system freezes (time not changing) but I can still move the mouse on the screen.
I also tried to use ibus-anthy and the same thing happened.
I have nvidia graphics, if that matters.
This is weird because the exact same combination works on my laptop...
To (possibly) reproduce:
- Install gnome
- Install ibus and a input method (ibus-chewing or ibus-anthy)
- Add the input method in Settings > Region & Language
- Try to switch to it.
