Hello all,
I think antialiasing for my fonts disappeared on its own some time ago (~2 weeks ??). I can't figure why. Now the fonts are all ugly, especially when colors are involved. I am on the proprietary nvidia driver with a 4k display.
How can I check antialias is still active or not? How can I activate it if necessary?

Edit : My fontconfig was completely off. After resetting the /etc/fonts/ and resetting .config/fontconfig to the example in the following page, everything went back to what it was like before.

My RGB config was off, and I was not aware of the color offsets fontconfig is doing to hint the fonts with color to compensate the RGB color oddness. Result is very crisp, especially when background color is not white. kmag is your friend to know what the fonts are doing.
