Two Cinnamon issues

Hi,

I'm adding missing pieces into the puzzle of my fresh arch installation. New to Cinnamon. Two issues:

1. No prompt to save modified files when ending session.

2. No desktop notifications from Firefox (enabled for Facebook and a couple of other sites in Firefox, libnotify installed, although arch wiki asserts Cinnamon has its own notification backend). What am I missing?
