[SOLVE]Where to open logs of softwares that I opened via the terminal?

A totally noob question, this is my first time writing here but here's my story.

I installed mintsticks to format my pendrive and burn image on to it, but it doesn't seem to start. So yeah, where should I go to, to read the errors and such?

never mind, Mintstick is the command in terminal where as to open the gui, I need a launcher because it is a .desktop file. I'm closing this thread since I manage to solve this.
