cue files created by streamtuner2/streamripper contain garbage

I've tried setting the codeset by adding the below to the streamtuner2 configuration directly but it makes no difference.  The .cue files only contain "garbage".  Dosen't seem to make any difference whether I record the stream as individual files or as a single file.

--codeset-metadata=iso-8859-1 --codeset-id3=iso-8859-1

Is there some other settings I need to add/change to have the .cue file created with human-readable artist/track titles?
