A while back I had DokuWiki running perfectly fine, but then my drive crashed and had to re-install everything. I'm trying to get a plugin to work (Specifically the datedifference plugin), and for some reason it's not displaying the correct output. It should look something like this:
8 months 7 days 3 hours 26 minutes ↑, but instead results in this:
search?q=to%3D2019-01-01&btnI=luckyAfter appending ?do=check to the end of the page url, I see that there is an issue with the locale it's using "Your locale C seems not to be a UTF-8 locale, you should fix this if you encounter problems". I would assume this is why the time output is not correct, as I did try a different plugin, and had another strange issue where it was only counting duration from the Unix epoch.
I'm a fairly experience Arch user at this point, but after following the wiki, and various forum posts, I can't seem to get the correct locale set in DokuWiki.
Some diagnostics:
output of "locale -a"
C
en_US.utf8
POSIXOutput of "locale"
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=only uncommented line in /etc/locale.gen
en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8I have made sure to re-run locale-gen just in case.
Content of /etc/locale.conf
LANG=en_US.UTF-8The only DE I have is xfce4, but it's only used when connecting to the system via x2go as it's headless.
Please let me know what other information I can supply to assist, thanks!!

For anyone else that this happens to, the locale wasn't the issue. Deleting all Dokuwiki files and re-installing seemed to do the trick.
