Hey there.
I am running mpd on a Raspberry Pi and control that mpd instance via ncmpcpp on my laptop. Since I want visualization I am not too sure how to proceed here.
I have my mpd.conf on the Raspberry Pi configured like it says in the wiki. So that the path is "/tmp/mpd.fifo". Same goes in the ncmpcpp/config, but here is my problem. If I do the same in the ncmpcpp config file, it doesn't point to the same location as the mpd server's config file, since ncmpcpp and mpd are on different machines. How am I supposed to handle this?
I tried setting every path instead of '/tmp/mpd.fifo" to some "/net/...nfs share" directory. The mpd.fifo file is being created by mpd, but ncmpcpp couldn't process it.
Could a softlink or something like this help?
