gnome-sell 3.32 still have "application menu"

Just updated today to gnome-shell 3.32 and I thought the application menu was supposed to be gone. the worst part is that although tweak shows still has the setting to remove them they can't be removed. How can I get rid of them?

It's not the same application menu, it's internal to mutter/gnome-shell: it's the same menu you have on right click on a dock icon.
