Broadcom BCM43602 ignores 80MHz and always connects on 40MHz.

Hi,

The adapter comes from Apple MacBook Pro 2014. And in Linux (only) it consistently ignores 80MHz width across all channels.
Got a feeling that I don't understand how Linux Kernel chooses channel width as other devices seem to have no problem with those access points.

Here is the device:

lspci -nn | grep Broadcom

02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43602 802.11ac Wireless LAN SoC [14e4:43ba] (rev 01)

The kernel thinks that phy0 is Short GI (80MHz) capable:

At a certain point, I thought that it might be an issue with antennas, but even connecting original MacBook Pro antennas result in the same behaviour.
Again, in Windows and MacOS I'm able to get the 80MHz working without hardware modifications.

It might be a firmware issue:
# pacman -Qi linux-firmware

Name : linux-firmware
Version : 20190313.efd2c1c-1

But I wasn't able to find a way of using Windows or MacOS X firmware. (Have no idea where do they store the binary blobs for it.)
Any help is welcome smile
