I've a RX580 that's passthrough'd to a VM, so the host does not load its driver amdgpu. But my VM is not always on, so that when the VM is off, the fan is basically running at whatever preset that's before the driver intervenes. The speed is a little higher than when the VM is on from what I can tell and it's a little noisy. So is there anyway to lower the fan speed in the host when the driver is not loaded?
