Certain icons loaded from wrong theme after upgrade

After upgrading my system with "sudo pacman -Syu" I noticed the icons for certain programs were different. The ones I've noticed so far are Archive Manager (file-roller), Gnome Screenshot and Gnome Terminal. I'm using Cinnamon as my DE with LightDM as my DM (if that matters), and used the Arch Linux Archive to determine that the packages that were updated between 15/03/2019 and 16/03/2019 cause this issue. The icon theme I have set in Cinnamon is mint-y-icons-git from the AUR (I have tried with mint-y-icons as well), but the icons that are used are from hicolor-icon-theme from the official repos. I tried running "sudo pacman -Syu --ignore gnome-screenshot --ignore gnome-terminal", which made it so Gnome Screenshot and Gnome Terminal kept their icons, but Archive Manager/file-roller wasn't among the packages that were upgraded, yet it had its icon changed after the upgrade. Specifically the icons that change after the upgrade reside in "/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps" and have names like "org.gnome.ArchiveManager.svg" I read something about the new version of Gnome changing how icons work so one doesn't need to make multiple versions of the same icon at different resolutions – could this be related to that change?

Is there anything I can do – other than manually renaming, symlinking between or creating custom files – to use the Mint Y icons?
