Hi there!
I'm trying to make my integrated wifi working on my old laptop with Arch.
During the boot I can see:
ERROR: Firmware file "b43/ucode5.fw" not found
ERROR: Firmware file "b43-open/ucode5.fw" not found
ERROR: You must go to http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#devicefirmware and download the correct firmware for this driver version. Please carefully read all instructions on this website.
So I went to this adresse and followed the guide on this link : http://linuxwireless.sipsolutions.net/e … ivers/b43/
but even if I'm able to scan and detect my SSID, when I try to connect to it I'm always trying "Connecting fail"
this is the output of lspci -nn -d 14e4:
01:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] (rev 01)
Sorry if this is something obvious, but I really tested every things that I've seen.
I've tried also to install the b43_firmware from AUR, but I don't thing I'm using it correctly...
Thanks for your help

There's no way we can tell unless you share your exact method.
Have you tried the wl driver?
@Gugi: the OP can scan with the device so it isn't blocked.
