Hi, I installed EAC a few months ago and it worked fine, but now I have this error message :
Unhandled Exception:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.MarshalDirectiveException: The type `System.Array' layout needs to be Sequential or Explicit
at (wrapper native-to-managed) HelperFunctionsLib.IMetadataRetriever.GetPluginLogo(intptr,System.Array&)
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.Runtime.InteropServices.MarshalDirectiveException: The type `System.Array' layout needs to be Sequential or Explicit
at (wrapper native-to-managed) HelperFunctionsLib.IMetadataRetriever.GetPluginLogo(intptr,System.Array&)
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!

Is wine-mono installed?
In general, simply out of curiosity, why? Virtually every linux cd ripper employs libparanoia which should give you the same "exact audio copy" guarantees exact audio copy gives you.

Yes, I got installed wine-mono
I know others but I prefer EAC. For me is good with ripped damaged CDs

I would recommend reading V1del's link on libparanoia.

The most recent winehq entry mentions having to install dotnet20 in the prefix. Also in what way does the error show itself? Does EAC crash? There's also mention of a patch that hasn't yet landed in the stable queue for fixing plugin detection: https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/161980 so you might want to try and patch and rebuild wine to see if that fixes it.
But as already mentioned, at least personally if the proper ripping of the disc is your concern, I'd rather familiarize myself with a native tool that isn't suspect to regressions in wine.

Thank you very much to all! especially to V1del.
Solved with dotnet20
