[solved] Issues after updating ICU

After updating "icu" today VLC (among the others) does not work anymore:

[00007f3d68026a40] main generic warning: cannot load module `/usr/lib/vlc/plugins/gui/libqt_plugin.so' (libicui18n.so.63: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

If OTOH I downgrade icu to previous version, thunderbird (which was also updated) does not start:

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/thunderbird/libxul.so:
libicui18n.so.64: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

EDIT: sorry, probably an obsolete package / mirror. Updated again and now works.

How did you solve it?

I tried downgrading icu and refreshing mirrors with reflector, then upgrading again to no avail.
