I can't log in Arch Linux system after recovery

I completely restored the root partition from the backup. The system started up, but I can’t log in to the system, I get error incorrect login (if I use virtual terminal ctrl alt f2 if it lxdm doesn’t write anything ) on all users, created even new ones including root.

I used rsync for backup:

 rsync -aAxv /mnt/system --exclude=”lost+found” --exclude=”dev/*” --exclude=”proc/*” --exclude=”sys/*” --exclude=”tmp/*” --exclude=”run/*” /mnt/usb

There were no errors when transferring to a flash drive.

Restored as follows:

rsync -aAXv /mnt/usb /mnt/system

Maybe I  missing something, thanks in advance for the answer.

What was the filesystem on your flash drive? If that wasn't a linux users and groups aware filesystem all your permissions would be hosed.
