I have recently installed arch by following the installation guide https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/installation_guide. CLI works fine.
After installing nvidia drivers, (in this case 390xx), and installing lightdm, enabling the service and rebooting, I'm met with no display after the kernel shows it has "Reached target graphical user interface." The LCD monitor is equivalent to being turned off at that point. Disabling lightdm and enabling sddm as an alternative has no effect.
What I've tried:
using nvidia-xconfig - same symptoms as above
X -configure - ditto
Logs:
lightdm log: https://pastebin.com/ZuAVJvmN
sddm log: https://pastebin.com/V0jytVjY
xorg log: https://pastebin.com/PX3sxWBB
/etc/X11/xorg.conf: https://pastebin.com/wm0kJWCX
What am I doing wrong?

Remove the xorg.conf and read up https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Optimus
The only available output seems wired to the intel chip.
