Hi!
I'm new to Arch and I almost finished setting it up. I had several issues but with a bit of patience I solved them by myself. Anyway now I'm stuck with a silly problem.
Since I had some urgent work to do I chose Cinnamon to begin, and it's just fine except I can't change the menu icon. Normally on Mint I would go to the applet settings and click on the circled gear, but it does nothing. https://i.imgur.com/eWbTHyZ.png
Same thing happens when trying to click on "Configure" from the menu drop-down and on some "properties" buttons. https://i.imgur.com/DhAfAE6.png
I looked everywhere and I can only find similar issues, but nothing like this, so it makes me think it must be something really stupid, but I can't figure out what.
Any tips?
Maybe am I missing some package for Cinnamon to work properly?

Try to type "cinnamon-menu-editor" on a terminal like gnome-terminal. It's the name of the command to launch the gui to configure the menu. Other way to launch it is to rightclick on the menu in the panel -> configure. If it is not working chack to have the program in usr/bin and if not idk why it is not installed because it should be shipped with cinnamon. Perhaps reinstall....

I tried with the command yet, and it works, but most of the buttons in the menu configurations don't work, and the applet editor is different from the menu editor.
Every Cinnamon package is installed, and I already tried reinstalling it all, but nothing changed.

I solved with a clean install, anyway I've no idea of what went wrong in the first try
