chrome-remote-desktop loads, shows as offline on PC and Android

So i've seen very little documentation on this: Google help from the android app got me somewhere. This is what I did:

I had to create a file "~/.chrome-remote-desktop-session" in my home with the following

Exec=/usr/sbin/lightdm
Exec=startxfce4

Thats for my Xfce desktop with lightdm installed(instructions explain this may vary according to DE.)
Once this was created My computer shows up under the chrome-remote-desktop and i was able to create a pin however immediately after enabling it my phone will only show it as offline. This was as far as I got and there's little documentation for this in the Arch linux community. also there's no output running the remote desktop command from the console.

So I've revisited this topic on a new Home network just to see I'f it was the public network that was the source of this issue. Still a no go I get the same result on our own network. Apparently others maybe having this problem https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/3333421?hl=en any one else in the arch community having this issue?
