[SOLVED] file manager started putting tons of whitespace between lines
I don't know what I did, but Dolphin started looking much less dense. I have an instance of Dolphin open from before it happened, and that one didn't change...

Go to Control -> Configure Dolphin -> View Modes and you there in the Details Tab you will find a slider to change the spacing. Alternatively just click the Defaults button.

The font changed (look at esp. the "1", also the rendering is overall different) - one has probably bigger extents than the other.
