A fix for the warning or a fix for something else?  The bug report covers the reason for the dependency cycle.
Dependency cycles are handled by pacman.  There is no indication this cycle causes any issues beyond producing the warning message.

Hi logs, the fix was meant for the warning, I'll do the updates (like the pacman prompts).
