Remaining battery time stuck or showing arbitrary values

Acpi is showing the correct value:

Battery 0: Discharging, 16%, 00:45:32 remaining

The KDE Plasma battery indicator shows a completely different value, which is stuck. Sometimes values like 106:24 h remaining, so it is not just stuck.

In case anyone is wondering "Verleibend" means "Remaining.

I've tried reinstalling powerdevil or changing to the DKMS version of acpi_call. Tried reverting back to an old kernel, but nothing changed. I was hoping that it would be gone with some Plasma update, but there have been a few now.
